Branding a CEO video podcast about lives that never fit into one sentence
How we stretched an established organic baby brand into a podcast identity that stands on its own – part of the Löwenzahn Organics family, and without the parent logo.
THE CHALLENGE
Ask a working parent what they do, and the honest answer always comes with a footnote. “I’m a founder – and the one who keeps track of every doctor’s appointment.” “I’m a CEO – and on pick-up duty at four.”
Eva Neugebauer and David Rau, the co-CEOs of Löwenzahn Organics, live that footnote every day – and wanted to talk about it out loud. Working Parents is their video podcast, built around guests willing to share the parts of parenthood and career that rarely make it into a LinkedIn post.
The brief pulled in two directions at once. The podcast had to stand on its own: lead with Eva and David as people rather than as the CEOs of Löwenzahn Organics, and speak to HR leaders and policy-makers as much as to the parents who already buy Löwenzahn. Yet the team also wanted a transfer effect – a parent who spots the Löwenzahn dandelion on a shelf should think of the podcast. Too much Löwenzahn in the podcast branding and it would sound like a brand channel. Too little and it would give up the trust the brand had spent years earning.
OUR APPROACH
This was a full podcast launch – creative direction, visual identity, motion design, brand guidelines and marketing collateral – shaped into one brand world that belongs to Löwenzahn Organics without wearing its original logo.
A life, stacked
The idea started in the wordmark. Working Parents doesn’t sit on one tidy line: it’s broken up and stacked, piece by piece, the way a working parent builds a day. Career on top of care, meetings on top of pick-ups, it all has to fit somehow. Generous white space keeps the tower from feeling crowded, and the same stacked, uneven rhythm runs through every cover and layout.
A family resemblance, not a family logo
The recognition comes from what Löwenzahn already owns. The type stays in its Helvetica Neue family. The palette is drawn from its existing colours, turned up bright and vivid, and colour-codes every episode by host – pink for Eva, green for David, yellow for everything in between. The Löwenzahn dandelion appears both in the logo and as a small asterisk – a footnote, an and also – woven through the copy and type treatments. It’s infused in the branding rather than just put on for the sake of recognisability.
One brand world, every format
Around that core sits a complete system: intro, outro and lower-third motion assets (for full episodes and the socials clips), episode covers, thumbnails, quote cards and social templates, email newsletters, a pitch deck, guest invitation assets and printed flyers and merch. Every touchpoint is built from the same library of graphic assets – frames, shapes, type treatments – so the system keeps pace with a weekly stream of episodes and social content without ever feeling repetitive. Week after week, that brand consistency is what turns a look into something listeners recognise.
We’re still working with the team as the show grows, picking up new formats and assets along the way.
THE OUTCOME
Working Parents went live at the end of August 2026 and has released an episode every Monday since. It holds a five-star rating on Spotify and a guest list that reaches far beyond Löwenzahn’s own world – Viva con Agua co-founder Micha Fritz, die.tischlerin Isabelle Vivianne, einhorn founder Waldemar Zeiler, author Thekla Wilkening and Federal Building Minister Verena Hubertz – with many more already lined up.
The podcast is entirely its own. Yet anyone who knows Löwenzahn spots the family resemblance straight away.
A podcast about lives that never fit on one line – with a brand built exactly the same way.
