The brand develops innovative and sophisticated body care products designed to adapt to the skin’s evolving needs, offering personalised solutions that empower individuals to feel confident in their own skin.

Moods&Lather is a holistic skin and body care brand that combines advanced skin science with natural oils and botanicals from Southeast Asia. The brand develops innovative and sophisticated body care products designed to adapt to the skin’s evolving needs, offering personalised solutions that empower individuals to feel confident in their own skin.
As part of a Brand Intensive, I developed the complete brand strategy, identity, digital design, social media presence, and packaging concept to position Moods&Lather as an elegant yet approachable luxury body care brand.

The scope of work included defining Moods&Lather’s brand strategy by determining its positioning, brand personality, and messaging to establish a clear and compelling identity. I created a distinctive logo, typography, and colour palette that reflected the brand’s sophisticated and earthy essence. The digital design was crafted to provide a cohesive and minimal online presence that would enhance the brand experience. Additionally, I developed a visual and strategic direction for social media, aimed at engaging and aspirational content. The packaging concept was designed to be elegant and tactile, aligning with the brand’s holistic and luxurious ethos.
Moods&Lather is defined by earthy sophistication, timeless luxury, and tranquillity, qualities reflected in the brand’s visual language and identity. The logo design features a customised serif typographic logo that blends italics with regular letterforms, creating an elegant and modern feel. The typography is a refined mix of sophisticated serifs, timeless italics, and modernised all-caps lettering. The colour palette is inspired by clay, sea, and earth tones, creating a grounded yet luxurious aesthetic. The photography style employs moody, natural soft lighting that enhances the skin’s texture and beauty. The layout and texture feature ample white space, minimal yet flowing layouts, and the subtle use of grainy or water textures to convey a sensory, spa-like experience.
Through a carefully crafted brand identity and digital presence, Moods&Lather now embodies a holistic approach to skincare with a touch of luxury. The visual identity successfully communicates science-backed formulations, customised wellness, and natural sophistication, setting the brand apart in the body care space.
